Quick Query appointments

Quick Query appointments are 20 minute appointments with a Disability Adviser, during which you can ask any questions or explore your options. You can book these appointments in two ways.

  • Phone our reception team on +44 (0)161 275 7512.
  • Visit the Disability Advisory and Support Service reception between 10am and 4pm from Monday to Friday.

You can book quick query appointments to register with the Disability Advisory and Support Service, discuss your support plan or funding application, or for any other disability-related queries.

On Friday afternoons during term time we offer Quick Query appointments at the Barnes Wallis building on North Campus.

Educational Psychologist's appointments

You’ll need to attend our ‘do I have dyslexia?’ workshop before you can book an Educational Psychologist appointment. There are a limited number of these appointments each year, so book on the workshop as soon as you can.

  • You feel your needs have changed and your support plan doesn’t reflect them any more.
  • You’re going on placement and feel your needs will be different.
  • You’ve been struggling with a particular area of your course, such as in labs or during exams.

If you feel you need a support review appointment, please contact your Disability Adviser in the first instance.
